Polycystic Ovary Disorder (PCOD) also known as Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)
is a hormonal disorder that affects women of reproductive age.
It is characterized by an imbalance in sex hormones that can lead to irregular menstrual periods, cysts on the ovaries, and difficulty getting pregnant.
Other symptoms may include weight gain, excessive hair growth, acne, and mood changes.
The exact cause of PCOD is not fully understood,
